You’ll spend a night under the stars in the surreal White Desert, snorkel vibrant reefs along the Red Sea coast, and stand before the timeless pyramids of Giza—each step revealing a different layer of Egypt’s rich, living legacy.
Itinerary
Days 1-2. Discovering Aswan and Abu Simbel
Aswan
Your journey begins in Aswan, Egypt’s southernmost city and the spiritual gateway to Nubia.
Wander along the graceful columns of the Temple of Philae.
Drift past Elephantine Island and the botanical gardens of Lord Kitchener’s Island on a traditional felucca sailboat.
Explore the Aswan market, famous for its spices, herbs and natural remedies. Enjoy the delicious food at the Nubian village.
Abu Simbel
Travel deep into the desert to discover the Temples of Abu Simbel, one of the most stunning archeological sites in all of Egypt.
Days 2-5. Nile cruise Aswan to Luxor
Nile cruise
Board your cruise and enjoy the beauty of Egypt from its main artery: the Nile. We have selected a comfortable and luxurious cruise for you and your group, so all you have to do is relax in its swimming pool watching the palm trees go by and eat the delicious Egyptian food.
Kom Ombo & Edfu
Discover the height of the Ptholemaic Kingdom at the riverside temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu, two imposing structures with intricate hieroglyphics depicting the mythology of Egyptian Gods as well as the daily life of ancient priests and pharaohs. As your cruise glides between these historic landmarks, you’ll witness the timeless beauty of the Nile Valley
You finish your cruise in Luxor, one of the most important cities and archeological sites in Egypt and the whole world.
Days 5-7. Luxor & Dendera
Luxor West Bank
Explore the ancient capital of Luxor, previously known as Thebes. Explore the West Bank, with the beautifully preserved tombs at the Valley of the Kings. Continue with the Temple of Hatchepsut, the only known female pharaoh in Ancient Egypt, and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that stood in front of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep II.
Luxor East Bank
Continue in the East Bank with two of the most memorable temples of all of Egypt: the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Karnak Complex, the largest temple in all of Egypt, is also a marvel of intricate columns and its tall obelisks. It connects through the Avenue of Sphinxes to the Temple of Luxor, which is a beautiful showcase of the different religions that have influenced Egypt in its history.
Hot air balloon ride
Witness Luxor from the skies during a hot air balloon ride at sunrise over the Theban Necropolis.
Dendera
A rare journey northward takes you to Dendera. Its Temple of Hathor is a lesser visited temple but one of the most elaborate and beautifully preserved, where you can discover secrets of celestial worship and sacred femininity.
Back in Luxor, enjoy slow moments along the corniche or in the shade of tamarisk trees.
Days 7-10. Red Sea (options: Hurghada or Marsa Alam)
Travel eastward through the desert and until the Red Sea reveals its secrets: turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, vibrant coral gardens, sea turtles, and—if you’re lucky—dolphins or dugongs! Whether you are looking for underwater adventures or a few days of relaxation, your choice of Hurghada or Marsa Alam is the perfect pitstop before continuing your trip to the capital.

Days 10-13. Giza
Giza Plateau
Arrive to the Giza Plateau edge of Cairo and come face-to-face with the only remaining of the 7 Wonders of the Old World: the Pyramids of Giza. Stand before the Great Pyramid of Khufu, and explore the Pyramid of Khafre and the mysterious Sphinx nearby.
Visit the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum (anticipated), home to over 100,000 artifacts, including the full collection from Tutankhamun’s tomb.
As the day fades, dine with a view of the pyramids from a secret rooftop or watch them illuminate during a theatrical sound & light show.
Saqqara Necropolis & Dahshur
Explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser and enter some lesser known but beautifully preserved pyramids and mastabas in the Saqqara Necropolis. While less famous than the pyramids in Giza, the pyramid of Djoser is actually the oldest!
Continue your exploration with the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid of Dahshur, also older than the Giza pyramids.
Days 13-14. Desert Trip
Bahariya Oasis, Black Desert & Crystal Mountain
Venture west into Egypt’s Western Desert, trading the sea for sand and surreal silence.
Start your adventure at the Bahariya Oasis with a light meal at a local’s house. Then board the jeep and enter the desert, starting at the Black Desert known for its dark volcanic mounds.
Explore the Crystal Mountain, the crown of the desert, with its formations made entirely of calcite crystals.
White Desert
The White Desert National Park awaits—otherworldly, chalk-white and scattered with natural sculptures shaped like mushrooms, camels, and icebergs. Camp in the open air, where the Milky Way stretches wide and clear overhead, and wake to the stillness of sunlit dunes.
Days 14-16. Cairo
Muslim & Catholic Cairo
Reach Old Cairo, a treasure trove of religious heritage and medieval architecture. Enter the Saladin Citadel and explore the Islamic marvels of Sultan Hassan Mosque, Sultan Al Nasir Muhammad Mosque and the National Military Museum located at the old palace.
Explore the Copt Quarter to understand the Christian past and present of Cairo. Visit the Hanging Church as well as some of the locations where the Holy Family allegedly stayed.
Egyptian Museum & Khan-el-Khalili
Conclude your journey with a visit to the old Egyptian Museum guided by one of the nation’s experts. See mummies, sculptures and daily artefacts in its massive collection.
End the day by shopping some souvenirs to bring home at the world-famous Khan-el-Khalili Market, where you’ll have to haggle the price!
