The Cost of Working With Me
To be honest, one of the things I hate the most about travel agencies is how they inflate the prices of reasonably affordable trips, activities and accommodations and they don’t even disclaim that. That’s something I want to do different and I want to be very upfront with the price of working with me. It really depends on what you want from the trip, so here are a few guidelines:

*Why I don’t book flights: the selection of a specific flight with a specific airline and a specific schedule is very personal and depends on a lot of factors that the client knows much better than a travel advisor. Additionally, prices fluctuate quickly, so having to communicate any possible decision would ultimately lead to delays in booking and changes in pricing.
Lastly, there is little to no commission for a TA when booking a plane ticket, which would cause for me to charge an extra fee and therefore you would receive the same service for an extra price. Not exactly what I’m going for here!
BUT I would be happy to advise you on flight options, including ideal routes, trusted carriers, and the best times to book — so your journey starts off smoothly.
**The planning fee will be charged in US dollars (USD) and has a 5% handling fee.
PRICING
Why a planning fee?
Crafting a personalized journey takes time, care, and expertise. Your planning fee covers the countless hours spent researching locally owned stays, curating authentic experiences, coordinating trusted local guides, and building a seamless itinerary that reflects your interests and travel style.
Additionally, some bookings may not be commissionable (i.e. my agency gets no commission for bringing clients to that hotel, activity or tour). Therefore, I would get no money at all from that.
Lastly, if you get the proposed itinerary and decide to book through a different travel service, at least my research hours are compensated.
It’s not just a trip — it’s a thoughtfully designed experience, tailored entirely to you. That’s what the planning fee is for.
